Blackness

Blackness is a beautiful thing.
I love what it has to bring.
Blackness is our life.
People, let go of all this strife.
Blackness is on the outside.
We must have a strong heart in the inside.
Blackness was former leaders like Nat Turner,
Fredrick Douglass, Malcolm X Little, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. etc.
They were black, strong, brave men from the past.
I'm sad their lives didn't last.
Blackness is something needed in the world today,
This is what I pray.
True blackness can be spoken from the mouth,
right here down south.

Black History to me is every month, not just the month of February.

P.S. Hello! Friends, it's the Super Bowl Sunday.

Please post this submission on the Internet. Thank you!
