Problem With Breast
I'm not positively sure, but I think it was on GMA News that I saw it, and a lot of people find it disturbing that women will breastfeed their babies out in the open.
My only thought to this is, "What the fuck?!" I still have a hard time grasping that people (especially men) have a hard time viewing this. Not 'cause it's a breast or a sexual thing, but because a mom is feeding her baby. And what exactly is disgusting about this? What can society find fault with giving nourishment to the next offspring and generation of our species? Most find breastfeeding a good thing, but out in public? It's a totally different thing.
TO those that watch the TV show on ABC "What Would You Do?", you can see this with an actress breastfeeding a baby and people complaining about this. Now it's in a restaurant and people are trying to eat and may not try to look at this, but so fucking what!? In the battle of wanting to eat peacefully and not having to watch a mother feed her baby, whether covered or not, versus a mother feeding her child to keep our species going and creating a bond with her child, I must say hands down that not only do the mothers needs trumps those of wanting to "eat peacefully", but the mothers take the victory. My view does not reflect society nor should they, but my mind is hard at work to grasp this.
I do find it hard to digest that people have a hard time looking at a mother breastfeed and are lax when it comes to pornography, strip clubs, and other sexual innuendos that are highly biased and sadistic. What's not backwards about this?
