Marker drawing of a orange covered roof house. It's surrounded by a blue sky and two trees, with a blue car in the garage.
Our house is Pershing, Indiana. From 1961 to 1968 or so, I lived in this red brick house that was actually designed like a monastery. I walked a few feet up the street to get to elementary school. When I spent a great deal of my time reading. I miss you— yeah, you! I remember it like it was just yesterday.
Randal, Kenny, Ted, Dave, Ron, Chicken Heart, Joy, Holly, Doug Arthur, Steve— if I hurt you, I'm sorry. I've spent a great deal of my life behind bars. Forgiveness is up to you. But I thank you for being kind to me, and I'm truly sorry if I hurt you!
To all of those who have been and gone, I love you. Still.
Merry Christmas
and
Happy New Year

That looks like a really nice place to be. I hope this finds you doing well. I just wanted to thanks for making my dads last days as comfortable as possible. He loved your music and your stories. Keep your faith and write me any time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

How are you holding up? I often think of you and the others. When Dad died it was like losing a lot of family all at the same time, I knew that with my visits I would see everyone but now that he is gone it is very sad to me that I may not see you again. So please write to me any time and I will do the same. Keep that smile and the music going.
