You Are

I think about us, and just how we'll be,
thinking of our future, me keeping you happy.
I need to tell you exactly what you are to me,
you're my angel of light, that has set me free.
You're my strength, when I'm weak,
you're my voice, when I couldn't speak,
you are my light, when I need to see,
you're my shadow, because you never leave.
Baby you're my guide, when I'm blind,
you're the only one, I won't leave behind.
You have my love, that comes from deep within,
you're my love, my companion and my very best friend.
Baby you're my joy, when I'm sad.
You're the love, everyone wished they had.
You're the wife, that I've wanted for so long.
You're my corrector, when I'm always wrong.
You're my shoulder, when I need to cry.
You're the only one, who can wipe my eyes.
You're my beautiful queen, on G-d's green land,
you're my wife, walking with me hand and hand.
I can't explain my feelings, but I hope this will do:
I know I make mistakes, but baby I do love you.
When we first met, I knew you were a'shining.
You brighten up my day, I love you just the way you are.

Love reading this stuff, man. Raw emotion contained in powerful writing. I can detect sincerity in this poem. That's one of the most important goals for a writer to accomplish. Keep it up man! Talk to you later!
Peace,
