Still Keeping The Faith, Despite It All
The fight continues. Despite the expected outcome from the California Supreme Court ruling, they affirmed my conviction. No big shock, but they also did me a favor. One judge wrote a 21 page dissent on the Baston Wheeler—prejudice jury selection by the D.A. which will help a lot in the federal court. They will take a deeper look into the actions of the D.A.
So I really start all over when I get a new federal lawyer. I still believe that the end of the road is not what it looks like at the moment. I have come too far, been through way too much, to give up now! I don't know how my story ends, but it's not going to end with the great state of California murdering me. Every fiber of my being feels that this story is just getting started.
I am at a crossroad and God has put me on the sideline to slow down and be still! So I can hear what he is trying to teach me. Like a seed, it has to be put into the ground (total darkness) to be able to grow into a tree. Water me, God! :)
Until next time, friends. Stay safe and keep tha faith.
Yeah, I know. My typewriter ain't too bright. :) Lol
Your friend, truly and forever,
