Murderous Heart

Recently, I attended one of my groups called Coping Skills. We sit around and talk about issues and how we cope with them.

Anyways, one of the guys opened up about how he murdered his cellie. He used vivid descriptions. He strangled him while whispering in his ear, "Don't fight it. It will be over in a minute." Both inmates were black; only one was affiliated. He then propped the body into various position for when the guards did their count times. When describing some of these horrendous details, he'd laugh (short spurts). He put headphones on him to make it appear like he was listening to music. Then he'd rearrange the corpse into a sleeping position and tied a homemade rope to his leg. He'd raise his leg by pulling on the rope to make it appear like the corpse was still alive.

This man had no remorse. This is not the first time I've heard stories like this.

He kept the body for three days before he told the guard he was dead. He said the only reason why he told them was because the body started to decompose.

The only good news to come out of this story is that he's never getting out of prison. On top of the life sentence he already had, they gave him another one. Maybe after he dies serving his first life sentence, he'll come back in the afterlife to serve the other life sentence in hell.
