Yes, my father's name is Michael Colberg though I believe (as I was told by my mother) that his first name is Jonathan, and Michael is his middle name. Or perhaps I misremember. I met him in 2000 in Eugene, Oregon. Shortly after, I met Jesse and her husband. They mentioned that they had been trying to find me, and had even found a false lead previously.
Sadly, I was neglectful in maintaining contact, only exchanging a few emails before being convicted in late 2003.
As I have always been estranged from my father's side of the family, that is about all I know. I was born on August 10, 1979 in Van Nuys, CA. My mother's name is Carol-Anne. I believe my parents met while working as paramedics. Sorry my information is so scant.
I do not know how responses are (or are not) posted on this blog site. I would love to put you in contact with my two teenage sons, Alexander and Nicholas, but I will not make their contact information public on the web. Like myself, they had little contact with their father's side of the family, and I would be happy to see that change.
