THE CALLING

A friend asked me to write something about God? I wondered if a Testimony would suffice? Or would a poem of praise be pleasing? But after careful contemplation, I came to the conclusion that the spiritual connection that I now share with Jesus Christ will be the truth and tale that I now tell -
From the beginning, a voice spoke (many) now know it as the calling! Some have answered it! (most) have not... in some circles it has been written off as a delusion - or an internal escape from some (external) problem. Some have even felt the calling be a realized epiphany or the voice of a long gone loved one... Sadly some have heard the calling but "feared it", forsook it and even tried to find shelter from it... inside of prisons (self-made) and unnecessarily occupied. Some have even tried drugs and alcohol and un-Christ like acts to create a perfect escape - from the perfect Gift...
But the Calling will never cease... the voice will be heard and forever accompanied by a wonderful feeling (even) though there is no visible face.
Because Jesus Christ came to sit with the sad and to save the sinners that are bound to be Saints.
I heard the calling without and understanding (only) a hope, now my prayer is for you to hear it, answer it and embrace it!!! And not fear it.
