The Judicial Twist
If you're black, you'll never get treated the same
You'll find out that what you're in is nothing but a game
There's nothing you can do 'cause your life will be corroded
Inside this judicial system, you'll definitely get railroaded
Judges are prejudicial, black people get treated funny
They get railroaded. Why? Because they don't have any money
If you're black with money, life is fair 'cause you're rich
Blacks who can't afford to hire attorneys are headed for a ditch
Laws misused all the time, the conviction rate is too high
There are more convictions than jobs, I ain't gonna tell you no lie
Then the twist comes in when you fail to realize
You ignore knowing the law that changes right before your eyes
No justice and no peace to be given to anybody that's black
They won't stand up for what's right when they verbally attack
People don't think about the law 'cause they feel they don't need to
We all should study the basics 'cause they might railroad you
They will give you a lawyer who won't even be effective
Won't object to anything in court where your rights are protected
Becoming an inmate where you don't have any rights
You retain privileges and for the good nobody wants to fight
Blacks don't get treated the same because of their race
If you're white, you go home. If you're black! They laugh in your face
Once they get you, they got you. Then you're stuck in the mix
There's no way to get around this nonsense, in this judicial twist
