Free Speech Warrior Sent to Solitary Confinement—Again!
On Thursday morning, January 5, the Free Speech Warrior, Timothy J. Muise, appeared live on Touch 106.1 FM radio as a guest expert. The topic was the lack of staff accountability in the department of correction. The prison phone system "dropped" the connection several times which forced the show to be cut short.
Immediately upon the show's completion, Mr. Muise and his prisoner interviewer, Joseph "Jabir" Pope, were whisked away to solitary confinement in MCI Norfolk's notorious R.B. Unit. They were told they were "pending investigation." This is obviously just another Gestapo tactic to silence Mr. Muise's use of free speech to expose the serious failures of the prison system.
Mr. Muise and Mr. Pope need your help. Please reach out to the Commissioner of Correction to express your outrage and contact the ACLU of MA and urge them to take the case:
Thomas Turco, Comm. of Corr.; thomas.turco@state.ma.us; (508) 422-3300
Laura Rotolo, Staff Attorney, ACLU of MA; lrotolo@aclum.org; (617) 482-3170
Please contact Tim directly.

Interesting choice to go on "The Fabric of the Black Community" Ex Correctional Officer & Boston Police Officer Charles Clemons wont be amused that Brother Jabir's Voices from Behind the Walls is now in doubt after a 1 1/2 year run.
"Voice of Activism"....really!! A bit pretentious but unsurprising and if you had just grabbed the phone a little bit earlier when you asked to give your information it may have gotten on air.
