Hi Alyssa,

Happy New Year. I received your comment from Between the Bars and hope all is well with you.

You asked me to be part of your "research" by answering some questions for you. In my almost 22 years imprisonment, I have allowed myself to be part of people's research and class projects. However, afterwards, I felt completely used by that person. There was never any human interaction from the person. Not even a thank you. Being that I always put in the time and effort, as well as personal expense into helping such a person, I stopped complying so freely to their requests.

Years ago, I decided the least a person could do is give me a little human interaction before parting ways after they get what they wanted. I'm sure you'd want nothing less from others.

With that said, I simply ask you to kindly write to me directly here at the Unit:

Please enclose a photo of yourself and tell me just a little about yourself and your intentions. I'm not asking for romance, sex talk, or money. Just a little conversation and an address that I can write directly to you. None, I repeat, none of perhaps twenty people I've asked this of has ever replied back to me. Are you any different from them? Your actions, or lack thereof, will tell. :)

Hoping to hear from you,
Bobby
