WISDOM Rally Scheduled For March 30th in Madison
Here is how WISDOM described their upcoming "Action Day".
Once every two years, WISDOM members from all around the state converge on Madison to visit legislators and to express our concerns. This year, that gathering will be on Thursday, March 30. We will gather in the morning to hear some words of inspiration and to talk about the day. Then, we gather in groups to learn and strategize around various issues (all kinds of Criminal Justice issues, but also areas like Immigration Reform, the need for more Public Transportation, and some issues related to the Environment). Then, we spread out to go to all the State Senators and State Assembly representatives. Some people will probably go out to the DOC to deliver our message. Then, we all gather again for a closing. Please let your friends and families know that all are invited — it is a chance to make our voices heard! To register, or learn more, you can use the information on this letterhead.

Those of us in prison are powerless to help ourselves. We cannot attend the rally, and even if we could, legislators will not listen to us because we can't, vote.
Please help all of us still trapped in prison under the old law to get justice and fair treatment.
