Re: Support Letters for Parole Special Review

On 3/14/2017, I was denied for parole and given another three year "set-off," I am serving two "stacked sentences" of 20 and 12 years for AA/DW (aggravated assault with deadly weapon) and escape (attempted escape), and I have been incarcerated for over thirteen years away from family and friends who love and miss me. I am also a father of four children.

I have been active to education and other programs since my incarceration and currently am close to obtaining my E.D. and enrolled in several faith-based dorm classes namely overcomers (overcoming life-controlling problems) and exceptional presenter (the art of presenting broken down into a series of skills and then provides a systematic formula to master each skill) based upon the exceptional presenter book by author, Timothy J. Koegel. I am also aiming at taking other classes, such as Voyager and Bridges to Life.

I need your support in the form of letters and/or petitions to the Parole Board for "special review" for wrongful denial and the three-year set-off to the Parole Board address and to direct your letters, emails, and petitions to:

c/o Board Administrator
Austin, Texas Board of Pardons & Parole

I am being denied parole because of my righteous networking and stance against prisoner rights violations with groups and organizations such as Industrial Workers of the World/Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee (IWOC), CT-ABC Paralegal Services; ACLU; Texas Civil Rights Project; Prison Justice Legal; Prison Abolition Prisoner Support; University of Texas Human Rights Center, et al.

This act of reprisal is contrary to and in violation of the Texas Administrative Code (TGC), Title 37, Part 5, Chapter 145, Sub-Chapter A. Rule s/s 145.31 (4).

In accordance with Rule s/s 145.17 of Title 37, I may pursue a remedy under the Special Review provisions of s/s 145.17.

Respectfully,
Oliver E. Lister II
