MASS MURDER
OJORE MCKINNON

"Hear ye! Hear ye! Have you heard? Mass Murder Scheduled; eight men in eleven days!" No, this is not scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia, nor Iran, nor North Korea, nor China, but within the confines of the United States.
Why is such an atrocious and vile act being carried out in the U.S.? Simply because Arkansas chemical batch of midazolam is set to expire (April 30, 2017). Arkansas Governor, Asa Hutchinson, has decided to rush these executions to meet an expiration date, with faithfully denying a prisoner a DNA test that may possibly prove his innocence and preserve his life. The irony in this case, the Governor once proclaimed such mass killings of U.S. citizens would never take place in America, as they do in Saudi Arabia. Now bestowed with the power to condemn or spare lives, he finds administrative convenience an appropriate justification to carry out 'mass killings of U.S. citizens'.
On April 17th, Arkansas is scheduled to murder two condemned humans back-to-back, then days later follow that up with two-a-day murders until the eight men have been duly murdered. Carrying out such mass killings in Arkansas is not unusual according to reports, in 1994 and 1997 the State performed three murders in succession in one day. The only unprecedented fact about this situation is the number of people who will be killed in a short period of time. Even with the mounting criticism, Governor Hutchinson is committed to carrying out these mass killings, which should come as no surprise to anyone. According to his rational, it's mandated by a court; and it's his legal duty to fulfil the wishes of a jury and the victims families.
My question, "Why haven't we heard any outcry of concern from members of congress?"
Members of congress found the time to comment in January 2016 on the mass killings in Saudi Arabia, some called the killing of 47 people in one day "troubling". Former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, stated such killings raised "serious questions". Even the U.K. Prime Minister expressed "disappointment" with the mass killings.
In this case, the U.S. Congress and their allies are silent during the pending execution of U.S. citizens, however, none of this should be of any surprise to you, nor should you find it "troubling"! U.S. politicians have a fondness for the life and rights of criminals and the innocent in authoritarian countries; while they silently condone and dismiss the plight, life, rights, and innocence of its own citizens! Under the pretext the U.S. justice system is just and the best in the "world". And you're silence says you agree!
From my stance of Maa, a voice from Deathrow!

Note: On April 14, 2017 the State court stayed the executions set for the 17th. On the 19th, the State carried out its first murder (of a prisoner who always proclaimed his innocence and asked for DNA testing); on the 24th, two prisoners were murdered; and on the 27th, another prisoner was murdered, days before the midazolam was to expire.

Powerful rhetoric about the hypocrisy of a nation that was supposed to be the champion of human rights.
Keep fighting. We are with you.
