Hi Alyssa,
Thanks for writing. The subject of your questions is something I've analyzed over the years by observing my own thoughts, feelings, and actions. Some of it is too personal to share. Unlike millennials, I have a hard time baring my soul in a public forum. I think I'll write a blog post in response to your questions and submit it along with this response.
I try to get a goal of 2 posts per week, but it seems that it is very difficult to do. I miss entire weeks before you know it, I haven't written anything in a month or tow. I also self-censor my writing. Some things I feel strongly about but do not comment on for fear of retaliation or the realization that even though I want to rant about it, it is futile to do so. Mostly I try to bear witness to the reality of the mass incarceration and endless warehousing as it is manifested in Wisconsin.
