HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, GOD.

God, I'm not sure what to say, but my heart is ... me to say something.

Again, Happy Father's Day, though you alone transcend time and like life as one continuous day without end. Amen. Heaven is like that.

I could go on and on thanking(?) you as God but I want to take a moment to just honor and thank you as my - Heavenly Father.

So it begins -

Happy Father's Day.

We don't tell you that stuff if ever. Thanks for ... ... on my ... back in 2010.

Thank you for the amazing job you do in Father my our spirits. Thank you for nurturing our souls with your nutritious nutrients from on high. Thank you for providing us with food, shelter, and clothing. Thank you for giving us some of our wants and meeting all our needs.

I appreciate the shoes you bought me. Sure they'll be here this week. Right in the nick of time as Mom is coming to see me. Plus they'll help my ... and feet, that's gotten so rough I can scratch my legs with the bottom of them. Yikes.

Thank you for ... around the clock to put food on the table. Smile. You know what I mean.

Thank you for delighting to give me/us the Kingdom.

Thank you for your repeated pats on the back though I'm not the touchy feely type! Thanks for giving us daily words of encouragement, which must definitely get us through some rough times. Thank you for inspiring us to hope and courage. I being ... listening ... so much so ... with us. Thanks for telling us to "fear not" especially on the 1st day of school when ... home and meeting others had us shook. Thanks for being the best sandwich maker in the business ... - keep my vote.

God thank you for your close discipline and the fact that you chasten those you love. Thank you for putting us in our place and not letting us run over you. Thanks for not enabling us and reminding us. "If you gone live under my roof, you gotta ... by my rules. Father we thank you for the parameters you set up for us all with the goal of expressing your love to us and for us. Amen.

Thank you for sitting on the porch ... and ... waiting for us prodigals to return HOME. Father we love that your 1st words weren't "I told you so." Thanks for still accepting us. For forgiving us. For still calling us "son"/"daughter".

Thank you Father for always giving us your bestest and bringing out the best in us. Thanks for helping us hone our spiritual selfs(?)/calling which we inherited by being fashioned in your image, made in your likeness.

Pops thanks for waking(?) us up for breakfast and those one times when we overslept. I were "this close" and being late for school, work, or that, important appointment.

Thanks for all the relationship advice. Reminding me to "be fruitful and multiply". to know me before I can know someone else.

Thank you for teaching me to ... in love and respect for others. Thank you for having all the answers.

Thanks for writing me 66 books.

Thanks for teaching me true manhood. To be kind, loving, respectful, sensitive, sympathetic, compassionate, to serve others, be courageous, stand up for righteousness, to ultimately be myself not someone else.

Thanks for all the wisdom on dealing with women. Thanks for telling me to be respectful. To value her (and myself). To not get caught up in her ... beauty but to let her spiritual beauty reign.
