James Comey's Fatuous Idea - Show Your Displeasure for Trump by Voting.
President Trump is right about one thing - James Comey is a bumbler and a fool (my words, not Trump's). Last week I heard Comey admit for the first time that his October 2016 announcement regarding Hilary Clinton's emails may have affected the outcome of the election. He has gone from outright denial to conceding he MAY have been responsible for Donald's Trump's election victory. Perhaps one day he'll come to admit what we all know: his announcement was the greatest single factor that led to Trump becoming president.
No wonder President Trump thought Comey was a loyalist who would continue to act unethically on President Trump's behalf by quashing the Russia investigation.
It's all water under the bridge. What do we do now? Mr Comey has an answer for that as well. I heard him say that if you don't like what President Trump is doing then you should go out and vote against him. That's good advice for 2020, but what about now? Mr Comey opposes impeachment but has no solution for what to do with the madman he helped get elected to the White House.
Mr Comey's book was a good first step toward atonement for what he did. But he still has a long way to go before he has done. No doubt Mr Comey will make millions of dollars from book sales. He will be set for life regardless of whether he ever works again. Meanwhile, the rest of us continue to suffer under the yoke of a megalomaniac in the White House thanks to Mr Comey's actions.
