TEXAS PRISON HEAT
No real lessons have been learned by elected officials in Texas nor those administrators responsible for the operations and management of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).
The Keith Cole vs. Bryan Collieret al., class action lawsuit (Case # 4:14-CV-01698, Southern District of Texas - Houston Division) should of caused more concern and remedial actions than have been observed statewide since the May 8, 2018 settlement was finalized.
Current circumstances suggests that it won't be a matter of "why" but rather "when" the next human being needlessly loses their lives as a direct consequence of the oppressive Texas heat in the TDCJ.
Please go on Facebook and join or give your support to the family members and friends of Texas state prisoners who are actively organizing to push state legislatures to put air conditioning in all of the TDCJ's concrete and steel ovens, commonly called prisons.
