SUBJECT: HIV Testing

Patients may request free HIV testing every six months while in a DOC facility. You may also request a test at any time following a significant exposure. If you would like to request a HIV test please submit a Health Service Request/DOC-3035 (blue slip) stating your request and a lab draw will be scheduled. The HIV virus may not show up until 6 months after exposure.

As far as other STD or exposure testing, please send HSU your Health Service Request and an appointment will be scheduled. Co-pay may apply, and testing is up to the provider's medical judgement.

Because 4 the last 21 yrs, 1 month -n- 13 days I have been indoctrinated 2 view -n- COMMUNICATE my thoughts, feelings, emotions, hopes, desires, actions, dreams, future, reality -n- what not in INSTITUTIONAL LINGO I MUST vomit this collection of words. If my [heart] would become UNINCARCERATED as well as my PSYCHE.

I MUST strive 2 B FREE, FREE 2 use FREE words. Words like: mortgage, career, 401K, retirement, Disneyland, cable, internet, smartphone, broker, employee identification #, health care, hospital, movie theater, Baskin Robbins, KFC, McDonalds, publisher, Amazon, "it's (phone) 4 U" [miss get'n telephone calls [crying eye], car, driver's license, flowers, got the kids this weekend, diaper duty, "U may kiss the bride", honeymoon, anniversary, "cash my check", FICA, the Y, 4th of July parade, ribs, beef, milkshake, strawberries, LOVE...
