CBU Scribe:
Creative Writing
* Short Story * Essay * Novel * Screenplay * Publication

This semester, the CBU Scribe class will focus on the art of the personal essay - with advanced students working on the "novel project" meeting separately.

A high school diploma, or GED is a prerequisite of this class; anyone in need of a GED should not take this class, as it will NOT cover grammar in any way. The creative writing process contradicts the writing style used for GED, therefore meaning that this class could damage your chances at a GED, because college-level writing is completely different than high school, and does not use the same format, or style.

Nearly all CBU Scribe graduates have been published. Homework assignments are submitted to national publications, and considered (with all copyrights remaining with the student).

Sign up lists for this class are in the dayroom. Class is held in the top dayroom (left-side), on Fridays.
