(pg.1)
First it was one case of COVID on "C" Facility at Mule Creek State Prison (MCSP). That was around July 27. So then there was a flood of level IV overrides from "A" Facility being transferred to "C" Facility, in order for MCSP to comply with a CDCR directive to vacate one entire building for possible COVID cases.

Transferring Level IV prisoners- where there were no COVID cases- over to a level III, where there were... is mind boggling! And to make matters worse, there are certain officers here at "C" Facility, who are well known for terrorizing new arrivals by reducing them to a "six square foot" measure of personal property- usually imposed upon disciplinary cases going to Ad-Seg.

When I was transferred from "A" to "C" Facility on 7/29, there were already 4 COVID cases over here. Then 4 became 12 by 8/3. Then 12 cases became 24, being housed in "C" Facility gym on 8/6. By the 10th of August, there were 38 cases. Two cases were removed from Bldg. #13 recently, where I reside. And since this Bldg. has been on Quarantine Status since I arrived on 7/29, it makes one truly wonder where they contracted COVID.

I'm not sure how many cases of COVID there are here now, but there is a rotation of other Bldg's enjoying the yard/canteen/etc., while this Bldg. I'm in continues with its quarantine another 10-days... if no other cases are diagnosed here. It's already been a fortnight since I've been outside in the sun- a model prisoner at "A" Facility.

I posted the COVID test results (neg) which I took on 7/31, suggesting my adult progeny would find lawyers to sue CDCR if I contract COVID now. Was it a coincidence when I was taken out of my cell in handcuffs last night, to watch all my property brought down and reduced a second time now? "You have too many books and paperwork," Officer Galvan said to me. "Pick 10 you want to keep- and get rid of some of that paperwork too." His partner, Officer Hernandez, simply shook his head sympathetically- dreading what I might do with my 6'4"/245 self."I'm a Scientologist," I said, "These booklets and corresponding courses are religious material I use to educate and habilitate the wards who otherwise move into your neighborhood un-educated or habilitated." "Pick 10," he said. I was so angry that I almost vomited. And even more-so after I carried what was left of my property back up to my cell and took inventory of my losses.
(pg. 2)
Officer Galvan is well known for this. Other officers have complained to their supervisor- Lt. Best (MCSP Facility "C"-3/ Watch), yet Officer Galvan continues to harass and rob prisoners. I intend to file a staff complaint, for the Parole Board to see in my file exactly how I handle rogue "Peace" Officers.

Officer Jenkens, here at "C" Facility, has been such a rogue officer for years- who is intent to write Rule Violation Reports (RVR's) whenever he justifies his six-square foot campaign... so at least I didn't warrant his scrutiny. Though he will be mentioned in my staff complaint as promoting this un-professional conduct. Five other prisoners here suffered his wrath: Anderson #G22198, Drake #AN3099, Lewis #AY7744, Behrens #AA7259 and Lddington #AN1408, just the other day- and Lt.Best had to get involved to settle the situation down. But not before they all lost property and received RVR's. I know these prisoners; one was the captains clerk at "A" Facility. And the other was a library clerk. Jobs reserved for model prisoners. They were not only sent over here into a COVID zone, but they also lost their ideal job assignments and suffered terrible losses of personal property.

It's sad to be glad that I'm not the only one, though I may be the only one who can expose this Abuse of Power in cyber space, hoping there'll be someone out there who will contact the Inspector General (1-800-700-5952) to report this staff misconduct.

I do what I can, and can only hope others will as well. The reason I spelled all this out to you is because I know you do what you can do as well. Thanks for that. Your newsletter- and everything else you do is... much too much to expect from mere mortals. Thank you for that. To the whole team at LSA, Thank You. Please have as many people as possible leave their comments here, acknowledging this travesty.

Damn! I've just been alerted that I'm going to the hole (Ad-Seg), for having an enemy here in the POOCH Program. After 12 years at "A" Facility with no enemies, all of a sudden I'm going to be thrown in the hole with none of my property. Awaiting a transfer apparently. I didn't see this coming. Or perhaps I did. I'm pretty much reduced to six square foot of personal property, so there's not much more to lose at this point.
(pg. 3)
My integrity is in-tact, I know that. So off to the hole I go. Perhaps this is my bus-ticket to CMC. In any event, we all get what we deserve... and I certainly did have too much stuff to lug along.

I guess I should pack up the rest of my belongings and get ready. Keep up the good work. And I will do the same- wherever I go.

Be blessed.

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post.

This is the first post I have read and transcribed and was very impressed by your voice and story. It is such a shame to here what is happening to model prisoners such as yourself, especially during the dangerous times of a pandemic. Please be safe and know that there is someone who is listening and pulling for you. I will try to help this situation in any way I can. Keep writing, and I hope to transcribe more of your posts in the future.
