Marcus, Son,

It's been exactly one month since I received your post on my blog site (address above, but you know it already).

I can't understand how you could write such heartfelt words and then not check if I replied or answer me directly here at the prison. What is it that you so afraid of? You must have questions that mean a lot to you that you need answered. Or why write in the first place? You say here your son deserves to know his grandfather. Will see. But shouldn't you and I as father and son get to know one another? Oh yeah, by the way, you never even told me his name. My health isn't so good.

Have you heard from your sister? I broke down and called her on Mother's Day. Last time was Christmas past, her again promising to send me some pictures of all of you guys, and even a few of my own from when I was little. I think she used them as her way to punish me or something(?).

Hoping all is well, and I hear from you soon. Say hi to your brother for me. Maybe ask why they don't write?

Love you, Son.
