The Greatest Sermon Never Preached
I have proclaimed myself to be a man of God. In fact my "Circle", there all men of God. We know such things as Hermeneutics, Eschatology, we can teach on what is a Theophany can even make sense of Greek and Hebrew.
I've listened to thousands of sermons being preached, have in fact preached more than a few myself, am a master at Expository Teaching and reveal in Big Thoughts.
But "Though I understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I can remove mountains, but have not LOVE, I am Nothing!" (1st Corinthians 13:2)
"Love (personified by my hero, my favorite preacher that never preached, my mom) it is patient. Love is kind. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrong. It always protects. Always trusts. Always hopes. Always perseveres. Love (my mom) never fails!" (1st Corinthians 13)
The greatest lesson I've ever learned did not come from behind a pulpit, but it comes daily as I watch in are of a life that silently shouts the greatest sermon never preached.
Thank you, Mom. My prayer is that I, indeed, we all, will begin to hear those silent sermons. I love you.
Your son who is awe of you,
Robo
