Anyone reading this should be aware that I am no longer in prison. I have been out since May 8th of 2012. If you're looking to communicate with a prisoner, please look elsewhere. They need you more than I do.
I kept wanted to post something new, and I kept finding excuses to put it off. This post finally came about on a whim.
I just got done watching "Lovely Molly" with my girlfriend, and I have to say it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I'd almost rather watch "Cloverfield" again. They're both pretty bad, but at least with "Cloverfield" I knew what the hell I was seeing on the home videos. What's that garbage at the end of "Lovely Molly" anyway? It looked like a giant evil ghost bunny. I've been more afraid of family movie night.
Anyone who follows these blogs is probably interested in what I've been up to. Things are going well at work. I'm a housekeeper at My Place hotel here in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and I keep hearing how (somehow) I'm the best housekeeper they have. Guests ask for me to specifically clean their room. I don't know who's been running their big mouth, but apparently I now have a reputation to live up to. *sigh* Dag nab it.
I have my own apartment. It might sound strange, but since I moved in, only two people have stayed the night there. And both of us feel a negative energy in that place. I feel odd just saying it, but I get the impression that something happened there. Recently. I don't even joke about stuff like this.
I have a girlfriend, too. She's good for me, and I love her. She can be a handful at times, but honestly, wouldn't the perfect girlfriend get boring? I need chaos, dammit!
Okay. So she isn't the only one in this relationship that raises hell.
Recently, I started getting into a style of electronic gaming called text adventures. I say "electronic" because a true text adventure doesn't contain any graphics. Even sounds are unusual. I was amazed to discover how engrossing they can be. My current favorite is a gruesome and horrifying game called "First Times", created earlier this year by Hero Robb. Yea, the text adventure is alive and well. It can be downloaded free and legal from:
www.textadventures.co.uk/quest/
You'll have to download the Quest text adventure player to read the files. "First Times" is #1 on the Top 10 games list as of 10/14/12.
That's enough prattling for tonight. I thought it was time I got something out there. Thanks to everyone who ever supported this blog. Especially you, Nikki!
Yea. I totally just dropped your name.

I guess I'll repay the favor - by publicly thanking you for helping me support my friend in prison. Without your connecting link I wouldn't have been able to provide him with all I now can. I'm eternally grateful. Thank you for your support & for helping me to bring a little long awaited happiness into his world!
Nicki
P.S. It sounds like you'll make a good wife for B some day, with those cleaning skills you speak of :D
I'd love to hear what you're up to now. I hope all is well.
