Dear Friends,

Let me begin the following piece by saying it is NOT a "political opinion piece". I left Columbia University the year before Pres. Obama started in 1981 and my advice to him would be "Lose the smirk".

Both sides leave me to be desired "politically" - true statesmen think of the next generation while politicians think of the next election (probably said by a statesman :D).

The current political campaign is nauseating - some say it's a choice between the lesser of 2 evils - many are steadfast in their beliefs about each candidate and refuse to let the facts sway their opinions. :D

Ultimately we may wind up with the best politician money can buy. So be it - (or as some would say "Amen").

Let factcheck.org separate "fact from fiction" - I'm concerned more with the separation of faith and fallacy. Someone NEEDS to form faithcheck.org.

Paul Ryan says he is guided by his faith - his faith has guided him to share the stage and hoist the banner of a man whose own faith banishes him to the "outer darkness" reserved for apostates and murderers. They will be able to share the Oval Office, but not the heavenly kingdom. Since Willard will be "exalted to godhood" as a temple Mormon.

People please! Read "The Kingdom of the Cults" by Walter Martin. (It is the standard reference work on the subject) Behram House Publishing, Minneapolis, Minn.

I cringe to think that the evangelical right would embrace a "political" ticket that denies the Trinity and endorses a candidate who, if asked "What think you of Jesus?" would have to respond that he is a "created being", formed in a sexual union between Elohim (Father God) and Mary (Heavenly Mother).

Paul Ryan, a faithful "Catholic", should read Galatians 1:6 in which Paul of Tarsus states, "I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the Grace of Christ into another Gospel!"

Paul of Wisconsin needs to reconcile Gal. 1:8 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be recursed". - With the fact that recorded in The Pearl of Great Price (Joseph Smith - History 1:20-54), the Angel Moroni, the glorified son of one Mormon, the [illegible] for whom the book of the same name is entitled, APPEARED beside Joseph's bedside and thrice repeated his commission to the allegedly awestruck treasure hunter. (The Kingdom of the Cults pg. 172). What would the Pope think, Paul of Wisc.?

In the Book of Mormon, Nephi plays the race card by saying: "The Lamanites received a curse because of their evil deeds, and the curse took the form of dark skins".

Someone has "pulled the plug" on faith and logic - the separation of church and state is one thing - the separation of me from my senses ain't gonna happen - this is not about politics! It's about my FEAR that a man who thinks he will be exalted to godhood one day, wants to be elected to the highest office in the land - and he's endorsed by people who are fated to be cast into the outer darkness.

Please! Someone START a faithcheck.org dialogue and tell the truth! This is not just about a presidential election - it's about the beginning of Jacob's Troubles.

"Brethren, the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen." Gal. 6:18

In his custody!

Gary
