Learning Curve... a "quickie":

So, life is about the continuing education of oneself; and in my case the continuing educating of others who, of course, in no way can match my sheer genius and modesty.

So, loyal readers (and uneducated morons who just got here), let the conveyance of my brilliance be imparted to you all equally...2 New Factoids per item!!

1) Did you know that with a screwdriver, a boxcutter and a ball of aluminum foil, I can steal your suburban Escalade or LaCrosse and GM[?] NOT ONLY won't be able to locate my new ride but they won't be able to shut it off either. I just learned this from another inmate today. He taught me the whole procedure.

So, hooray for "rehabilitation"!!

2) Did you know that even carelessly executed, a robbery performed one time only (bank, 7/11, local marijuana shop) STATISTICALLY will be unsolvable. Yep...do it once and ONLY once & you'll probably be able to get away with it. I learned that from a c/o (and also my ex-father in law, a homicide inspector).

So hooray for "Mentoring"!

3) Did you know that before spending almost 9 years behind bars I never could have thought of even a few of the HUNDREDS of scams, rip-offs, schemes and crimes that I NOW know?
Time the 'state' spent on my 'REHABILITATION': 0 HOURS
Time spent listening to criminals impart wisdom: 9 years.

Creeping Crud

Sigh! Last Tuesday I got sick. Actually I started to get a cold. I didn't realize at first, but it began it's attack. So...10 days latter I finally feel better.

See, instead of doing the SMART thing and going to the medical incompetents and paying $5 I don't have for a 'lay-in' ("letting" me have time-off without punishment), and drugs that don't work, I decided misery LOVES company and went to work sick every day. Ha Ha Ha. Now everyone is getting it. That's what you get for not allowing slaves to earn sick time. I do it to HURT the state.

At any rate, I must admit that I have not had a REAL cold in ages. It was quite exciting, really, to get chills, fever, stuffy nose etc...Thankfully it did not go into my lungs & the only cough I suffered was from nasal drainage.

As I near my exit from Hell, I am glad to have been ill. My immunity is up & now, when I am out at Starbucks begging for work, the illnesses beset on the rest of you will work in my favor...the sick usually can't go job hunting...I'll get to go to barista school because your 6 year old came home with the cold I had already.

Argle-Bargle! I'm SO MEAN!!!

UPDATES

- The old man got cornrows done today. He actually looks pretty cool.

- Lots of hullaballoo about Der Guhvanoroberstein Fuhrer Jerry Brown (Braun?!?!) and the VERY QUIET and low-key prison building spree that Der State is once again embarking on.

Question: Who exactly is PAYING for de Fuhrer's new gulags?? By all accounts it will more than likely be paid out of stealing from the hoped-for tax increases der Fuhrer Braun (Brown) wants passed on ELECTION DAY. IF you are anti-prison in Gahl[swastika]fornia, der prison state, PLEASE go vote down all tax increases!!!

- I find it ironic that in 2006, my prison was #1 in medical care out of 33 prisons. In 2012 it is #32 - second worst. Thank YOU Thelton Henderson for f*cking things up for us MORE THAN BEFORE. This prison, btw, is considered for all intents a MEDICAL FACILITY, thus the irony.

- Does anyone else think that the 'Capitol' icon from Hunger Games looks STUNNINGLY similar to the IRS logo? Is this intentional?
