Thank you for your response and you are right, this will make me stronger. The problem is that when they realize you are without outside you become a target, not only for the gangs but also the guard; pen pals are very important for our mental well being but also for our lives. I have seen prisoners killed because no one out there wrote them, and that's the guards doing the killing. I know it should be unlikely that something like this could happen in this country. It happens all the time and in numbers that would shock you. I have 7 yrs left to do and sometimes I doubt I will survive. Take care of yourself. Peace :) Donny
