Thanks for writing again.
Glad to know I have an 'international' fan club (vis a vis - you).
Per Hunger Games; that you are in the UK gives you a bit of understanding about Roman domination. There's things here in America that really do imitate what Suzanne Collins wrote. I think the HG trilogy in fact is a bit of a commentary about U.S. society and it's also kind of a modern day version of 'The Running Man'.
Will our future be governed like the lives of those in HG? Are we already there and don't know it yet? (ISN'T our "war" on terror kind of like HG?) Taking our nation's youth & making them go fight in an arena (i.e. Afghanistan) to the death... well, I digress...
Anyhow - write comments any time and see me get out 1/16/13... I may have to relocate the blog, not sure, but I will still be about the web somewhere!
