I don't think there is a limit. It's helpful and also more easily read though if your writing is broken up under separate headings/titles so they come up in separate posts on the blog. 1-3 pages per subject/letter at a time is average I'd say.
I was locked up with gary in I.M.U in snake river in oregon. After reading this he sounds really sincere about changing his life. Gary was a lost young man the last time i saw him, he was full of pure hate. I hope he finds his way, and excepts all forms of support and is able to enjoy the rest of his life in peace..
Some good stuff here. I DO like Dream Theater. I'm a big fan of a band called Porcupine Tree, that I think you'd like, (start with "In Absentia), then move forward, and THEN backward with those guys. That seems to work best. Also, an offshoot of them called "Blackfield" is pretty awesome. I don't care for what little "Cristian Metal" that I've heard any more than the other stuff. Nickelback doesn't speak to me. Kind of bland pop stuff. My music tastes are pretty difficult to explain. I guess a more comprehensive list would maybe trigger something to cognitive reasoning shrink. Anyway, if Metal does it for you, cool. I also like a LOT of instrumental stuff. Primarily Guitar. I've actually seen Tony McAlpine as a member of Steve Vai's touring band, on of the years I saw him. (Vai is my favorite guitarist). I've seen G3 a couple of times, and Joe Satriani on his own a couple times. I also am getting back into Jazz a bit. I got through this cycles. The constants are Beatles and Yes, because they formed the soundtrack of my life. I associate most the events in my life with a Beatles song (pre-1970), or a Yes song (1971 and beyond). I rolled with Yes through every permutation and member change which has been plethoric to say the least. Most Yes fans are factional. Usually marked by the guitarist of different line ups, (Peter Banks/Steve Howe/Trevor Rabin). I'm part of a small breed who would be called a Yeswhole, as I love it all. Every phase. I'm about to blow a gasket waiting for the first solo album from Trevor Rabin in 23 years (that's not a movie soundtrack). It's coming out May 12, and it's called "Jacaranda", which is the name of his studio in LA. It's supposed to be an all instrumental album just showcasing his guitar and piano prowess in a variety of ways, including bluegrass, jazz and rock. Sounds just about right for me right now. I'll let you know how it is.
Actually, Amazon says the books are delivered. Enjoy. It's all the rage right now. I may read them sometime, but I'm kind of in a non-fiction space right now. Got the Easter card, (Thank you), and the Birthday card (thanks again!). Peace
Meh! Don't apologize for a blog post. A blog is yours. To express what you feel. That's really kind of the point. As to my personal agreement or disagreement with any of the religion screed, I'll keep that off your blog, and put in a letter. But, as far as blogging goes....it's yours. Don't ever let my lurking presence here stifle your thoughts. I have one of these things myself, but I doubt you'd like it, since it's all Catholic Christian Theology, Classical philosophy, and Apologetics. My thoughts. Nobody reads it. It's like everybody out here on the "interwebs" (as my daughter Kristal calls it) has a blog. There are too many writers, and not enough readers. Same thing is happening in Music. Everbody with a cell phone video camera, (which IS everybody, believe it or not), is now an MTV video star now. Ah well! I'm glad this is here, and that you guys can get your stuff out there too. You'll get more readers than I would because of the allure of penal literature. Best of luck ;-)
This will take a somewhat more reasoned and patient response than space, or time allow at the moment. I'll have to resort to pen and paper or Microsoft Word on this one. Peace to you Son. Hope all is well.
Hi Ronnie. I am still following your blog over morning coffee. Glad to see you are ok and your blogging is very good.. interesting. The pic of you as a child is like sooooo cute ! Thanks for sharing. Really sweet pic. Lol - you sound like me sometimes - always a health issue! It may be stress related, I know I think it is for me anyway. What can ya do? FYI - I would assume your blogs are being help up by UCI as they are being posted a month after the date you put... fun reading for them huh? And hey - don't press that with them or it will delay it even more! I know it's not a delay from this blog as they are really on their game and efficient. Well, keep blogging - hope your Super Max Security situation changes soon and you can enjoy more outdoor HOT FL heat ! ha. Take care. Hope you have a nice day - happy belated Bday? You should have told us you had a Bday!!! Silly man.
This definitely comes under the fantasy genre by the way.
