I bought a Christmas tree today , when I chose it I thought about our differences , the difference between your Christmas and mine, what I found is you are behind bars and unable to go where you want , I am able to go where I want but unable to escape the prison I have made for myself , I have the choice to walk through the bars which only I can unlock
. Until I started corespondence with u I did not feel I could ever unlock the walls I have built around myself , your an inspiration to me. You give me strength and courage to look beyond the invisible walls and now move forward ,, merry Christmas my friend . I will be with you in spirit on Christmas day ,, as I am every day , for every day is special when you know your never really alone . Close your eyes and remember these words " your never alone I am with you in spirit always"

brother, you havent been forgotten.. mom keeps writing to you faithfully... and i write you on here.. granted i only write when you post something so keep posting and you will get more letters... things here have been going somewhat ok.. i freaked out and wound up going away for 3 days... it helped a whole lot... i came home feeling much better.. i had therapy 5 times a day while i was gone.. and on my last night there i helped cook for the pod... i made a turkey breast, mashed taters, rolls, pinto beans, and a coconut cream pie...it was nice.. i even made a pitcher of tea for us all.. letting me in the kitchen was against the rules... but noone minded once they tasted dinner... we have been running low on stamps.. so i have been writing you on here... you need to finally pick your cherokee name (Bear related).. our father is 2 Bears... and i am sunning bear... after you pick your name... i will get mark to choose his... then i will get the papers from our father to get my indian number... and help mark get his... if i can... he can get alot of help with school grants and stuff if he has his number... Phil said to tell you hello.. he is a very good guy... i got my christmas present from him already.. it is a portable dvd player.. so i can watch movies anywhere i want... he is so good to me.. we are making him some sweets and sending them over to England... they may arrive late but he will have enough for him and his momma... i already sent their cards... mom is mailing you a letter tomorrow.. it will get there before this does.. but that is ok tho... i have been spending about 7 hrs a day talking to phil.... from the time he gets off work til he goes to bed... when he gets here in June we are going to elope... then later we are gonna have a ceremony for everyone... i will be wearing a cherokee wedding dress and matching moccasins... and he will be wearing a suit... we were gonna do a cherokee blanket ceremony... but most ppl wouldnt know what it was or understand the significance of it all... uncle johnny and aunt janie will be there... uncle johnny, momma, and mark will be giving me away... my maids of honor will be renee barnes and my g/f denise... and the best men will be karen tang from new york and paul mann from canada... we will have ppl from all over the country coming... most of the ppl coming are online friends... most of them i met on facebook games... yoville and farmville... we all call each other and are very close... i talk to canada a couple times a week.. and i talk to my other friends once or twice a month... there are so many of them that it takes me a whole month to get to everyone... lol... momma is doing as ok as can be expected.. she can hardly walk now... she is on oxygen all the time... her diabetes is out of control again.. she is having anxiety attacks.. her feet and legs are swelled up.. but i do what i can to keep her comfortable.. just remember you are loved from every one back home..

We have never forgotten you. I'm sad that you thought that. You have been in our thoughts and prayers all of this time. There are no real excuses for the disconnect, but please know that as a family we did not have a "blueprint" so to speak for dealing with a family member in prison. We had not had anyone in the family behind bars.

The reason that I wrote you recently was because you have never left our prayers. It took a very long time but I searched for information on you online and when I found this blog I was overjoyed! Now that we have found you please know that we will not allow circumstance to separate us again. I pray that you will feel the love and prayers that have been instilled in us for generations.

Keep the faith and look for a letter soon.

Bob, I have been following your blog and I've been meaning to get back to you. Doing this electronically means I'm more likely to get it done.

I'm glad to see you're doing well, and still running. I took almost 3 years off because of a knee injury I couldn't shake. Retired like 5 times, but kept coming back. Finally starting to get back to the shape I was in back in 2007. Goal is a fast spring marathon.

Finally grew up and bought a house out in West Greenwich, RI. Great running out here. You'll love it when you get a chance to check it out for yourself.

I don't like to think of such an amazing person having so much fear to deal with. Know that God's loving, protecting arms are always around you.
