Goodness gracious, that's terrifying! I wish someone in there will take the pandemic seriously for all of your sakes. This pandemic really can destroy people's lives, and it's not worth gambling between safety and "usual" comforts.
I've sent letters to senators and directors over the year about this, and ah... not much success, unfortunately. I'll keep trying.

I wanted to let you know I received a delightful letter from Dakota, two years and one assignment after you passed my snail mail addy to him!
Some little old lady put his envelope in another envelope and forwarded it to my new address (on her dime). Can you imagine?
I am very pleased to have a new friend, all because you kept asking him if he wrote yet!! I will snail mail him back with my new addy.
