Hello Marty,
I enjoy your submissions. Obviously you are a very intelligent and talented individual. Continue to do what you do and keep those mental muscles exercised! You have an important story to share. Just know there are people who are watching and listening. Take care.

I haven't commented before, but I have been transcribing many of your posts over the last five or so months. From the present to the past from many years ago. I wanted to say that I really admire your compassion and humanity. It's raw and refreshing wisdom that comes from a wounded but understanding heart. Your writing heals me whenever I'm feeling down, even though I am not a deeply religious person. It's an unexpected joy. Thank you very much for what you've done.

Happy New Year. Let's hope that this year will be a good one for everyone together.

Hello,

I really enjoyed reading your poem. One of my favorite lines was "I won't miss the prison life but I'll reminisce". This line speaks much volume! Personally, I had a hard year last year; I question if I were depressed or heavily sad. Sometimes I find myself battling the same emotions. But my favorite line in your poem taught me that it's okay to reminisce and move on from a place where you once battled your everyday battles. In fact, it's beneficial because in order for you to grow in life you must respect the past and keep pushing forward.

And so for that, I thank you.
