it's been a while that I wrote! Yesterday I had my eldest daughter coming on a visit together with Bart, the friend with whom she bought a house.
They had a problem with their car going to Andorra. Between France and Spain. They remained in France with the rented car. And made the best of it.
They told me they had some pictures! Which was weird since they just returned from their trip.
We were eating a pie and I told Bart I would see them later since my hands were kind of sticky. Ans I still had to take my glasses as well. He said: You'd better look at them right away. And he slid them in front of me. Ow.... they were the baby photo's!! Well, Elke expects a baby. I saw the head profile, the brains, the body and one arm and a pretty big hand. So, I suspect it will be a boy. Although his two sisters also are very tall. Mom was very emotional.. me too! The baby is due for the end of January! :-)))
I am so very sorry for what you are going through... What is all going on there?? Don't you worry too much for not writing, we understand your grievances.
Only when we read about your frustrations, we get to know you and thanks for writing it anyways and telling people out of jail. We read it, and encourage you, ok?
If only those sentences could help you in one or another way, Kelly.
Here goes: It comes out of a booklet 'The sense of life'. Bertrand Russell (1872- 1970), an English philosopher and mathematician wrote: Three simple but irresistible passions have dominated my life: the need of love, the hang to wisdom and an almost unbearable compassion with the suffering man.
Which wisdom is greater than kindness?- Jean Jacques Rousseau (1712- 1778)
A peacefull world is not a world without conflicts. Conflicts are fundamental for life; where there is life, there is struggle. -B.V.A Röling (1906-1985), Dutch polemologue (?).
You want to know if you should sign away your parental rights? What does she want you to sign?
I guess part of the question is, do you have a choice?
Personally, I think that it's always best to have an open arrangement. You should request that you can have contact (either through letters or visits - if that is possible).
Give your son what you can - even if it's only letters.

Yes, hold fast to this: "I'll remain human because human is all I've got"
I wish we all knew this, thank you for expressing it.

Do you do that now?
Do you have family that is in contact with him?
How old is he now?
