Hey buddy just wanted to let you know that I've written you two long letters and both times they were erased. So I am here and trying to respond to you. I will send you more if I can figure out how to do it. Like I said, I am not that great on the computer.I quit smoking after 36 years about three weeks ago and it feels awesome so far! I used an electronic cigarette to do it and I am still using it. I am going to try and figure out how to read your postings and get an idea of what you've been up to since we last saw each other 21 years ago. Incredible that it's been that long, almost half my life has passed since then. I am selling on eBay right now until I go back to sheet metal, I sell old Redline Hot Wheels, it's ok and I make enough to survive, barely, but it's more fun than sheet metal and I can work when I want. Unfortunately that is 7 days a week and 20 hours a day sometimes. What do your days consist of and what are the chances of you ever being released? Are you allowed to have visitor's? And I really do agree with alot of what you had to say in your letter and have been saying that for 30 years, ever since I saw the first computer being used to scan groceries in the late 70's or early 80's. Eventually we are all going to end up with chips implanted in our bodies that will allow us to do away with all our devices that we carry or use at home to communicate, purchase, identify or entertain our senses. All the images you see will be transmitted to your brain and you will see them and feel them as if they are actually happening. But unfortunately that means that we will also be monitored by the government for everything from health records, bank info and crime purposes. The ultimate control with no freedom of choice. Sucks, but the world has been complacent too long and it is now out of control and it is inevitable. Ok Bill I will write again soon, you take care and know that I am out here and will get back to you whenever I get a chance to spout something new. ZAP

Hello Larry

I wanted to say that your writing was very very interesting on poverty and how it defines us.

Also what you say about how we put out a "fake" image of ourselves. This was really important for me as I had a Dad who was one way at home and totally different when out in the world.

Learning to protect this facade formed a huge part of my childhood and made me a very secretive adult.

However, it has led me into major depressive episodes because of not being able to express my feelings. Having to constantly squash down emotions to be able to just function in society. This has led me to not be able to cope with emotions, both good and bad emotions.

I really hope you do well in your course and can do well in the future.

Kind regards
Toni
