a few years ago i attempted to fund an inmate (LWOP) in his endeavor to get certified as a paralegal. I spent mucho bucks and alot of time to try to make that happen. What ultimately ended up happening was my MasterCard/debit used and abused with unauthorized transactions.

Before I caught wind, I had been paying phone privileges and canteen. The final straw was when MY mortgage payment bounced.

let's look at the ACTUAL charges Mr. Judy faced and for which he was found guilty. In America we have citizens who have to stand up and protect our children. Our children are our future.

I won't post the "sheets" of inmate Judy but I would ask you read them.

Thank you.

Praise God for considerate cooks! Every corner of this broken world needs more people like you. Men and women with self control are in short supply everywhere I look. Thanks for the post my friend.

I agree, your system provides no room for common sense. I have become friends with another BTB blogger who served time for a "sex crime" and has since been released. He would never have received jail time for this offence here in Australia but not only did he serve 5 years in prison, he now faces 20 years of parole conditions (something unheard of here, even for the most serious of crimes). In my mind, the system is set up to ensure he fails. Since his release he has followed every condition he is required to, yet has been further persecuted for failing a scheduled lie detector test (a pseudo-science our legal system does not respect or use at all) and is now required to wear a gps tracking device as a result. He doesn't dwell on the overwhelming injustices he continues to face, but I do.

My mind boggles at how continuously persecuting someone for a crime (that in my country is not a serious offence) benifits anyone. I don't understand how watching a handful of online videos containing teenage girls (when he was little more than a teenager himself) merits him being labelled as a sex offender for the rest of his days. In my mind, the American system condemns good people and criminalizes them for a lifetime. How can that possibly benefit anyone from the individual to a country that prides itself so strongly on its "freedoms".

I wish you well. Nicki

You remember. Continue to open yourself to inspiration, and release the creative energy within you. I am very impressed by the insightfulness you have. It may be challenging, but remember,

"Happiness has little to do with what is going on around you, and a lot to do with what is going on inside you."--Alan Cohen

I'll tell Brit you said 'Hi'!

Clark, can you see the demons dancing in front of your eyes? You do know it's an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

You victims had no chance

i misspoke. his earlier death conviction was overturned. He got death then LWOP for that one. Then he was tried and convicted (sentenced to death) for the murder of Mr. Willis.
