No, woman aint the only one getting "degraded."
however it's not a fullout assualt as women. For instance, if
a woman gets raped then it'll cause "uproar" on the other
hand when a "boy" gets raped or sexually assualted its
looked upon as a "good thing" and it'll probably cause some
five highs but thats the double standard in society.
True you must demand a level of respect
or else people will run all over you. People will always be
"opportunist" and if they can get away with it they'll do
whatever. That's just a dominant ideology in society.
That's good you expect equality but like
I said in my last response if you and your counter parts
in the country get "it", what aobut women in other nations?
As for who's "fighting" gor the men, well I know
I aint the fact is a lot of men are "stupid" and frankly
some "aas" are just prtraying the truth. I'll add there's a
double standard there too. Men in boxer briefs wont cause that
much of an uproar as say a women in stockings etc.
It is a good thing that people in India
(both sexes) have demanded that action be taken against
the perpetrators. To bad that mentality of coshesion isn't
everywhere.
What I'm trying to get you to realize is that
what fuels and furthers sexism and other types of
"degrading" things? And what will eliminate it?
By the way, thanks for the response it made
me not to be so "narrow" in my thinking of sexism
