Hey Collegekid,
Thank you for your comments & compliments. It's truly difficult to speak from the heart as I do. I used to think that my voice didn't matter, because the world has shown that one man cannot make a difference. But I've found that it isn't the one man that can make a difference, it's 'the one voice.' When we communicate, finding that common ground upon which to stand, we can become that 'one voice.' So I do matter, and so do you. I strive to be better myself, and the people around me; and in that, I find my strengths by helping others. People don't make it easy to help them. They try my patience & sincerity and I've even been played. But I don't let it deter me, because I believe in 'The Higher Calling.' We're all connected physically & spiritually, and there exists an obligation we have for one another - I am my brother's keeper.
I say to you collegekid, don't wait for a 'huge curveball' to be hurled at you before you give birth to your strengths. Walk in the light of your strengths every moment of the day, and discover the new heights & depths unto which your abilities may grow. So when that 'huge curveball' hits you, you won't even feel it. Flex your muscles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
