Dear Daughter of Dick Endres:
By your recent comments I assume that you did not talk to Ron or that he did not tell you the truth. I am sorry that you still do not know what happened and do not have the closure you are seeking.
I will tell you anything you want to know about the night Dick died and I will take responsibility for what I did. I am a killer. I killed your father and for that I am sorry. But I did not murder him. It doesn't matter how many years I spend in prison. The truth will not change and I will not stop telling it.
I do not want to cause you any further pain. I told you what happened that night and if you choose not to believe me, that's up to you.
I am also not the same person I was in 1984. I spent many years doing the emotional healing I needed so that I would no longer be a person capable of taking another man's life. In 2009, I wrote you a letter. Since I didn't know your name or where you lives, I could not send it to you. I am submitting it with this response. I hope it is helpful
