(pg.1) GOD WANTS YOU TO PROSPER- TO BE RICH AND HAPPY
Hello everyone, I want to share something the Holy Spirit has been revealing to me over the last several months. We all want to live good lives and not have to worry about money. We all want to be happy and we want to be able to provide for those we love. We want them to be happy too. So, why is it the harder you work, the more money you make, the more stress you feel, and the more pain and misery that comes into your life and the lives of your loved ones? Are you even happy with the work you're doing? Or did you pick your career because of it's earnings potential? Do you remember the dreams of what you wanted to be as a child or as a teenager? If you do, I'll bet you also remember the day someone you loved or respected told you it was stupid or unrealistic. Now look around you, does the property you own define who you truly are? Does the cost of the stuff you own becomes the most important aspect of your life, doesn't that make you a slave to your stuff? Do you worry about what the people around you think about your property instead of whether you like it? Look, I'm not one of those people who is going to tell you that money, in and of itself, is evil or that owning nice stuff makes you a pretentious bore. Does all of your money and nice property make you or your loved ones truly happy? Okay, now I'm going to share a secret with you, the only way rich and happy is if you are earning money at something you enjoy or love. Money, by itself cannot make you happy. You could own the world and still be miserable. Does anyone really need a 30 or 40 bedroom mansion? Does anyone really need a street car that does over 140 MPH? Do you really need a 70 or 80 inch T.V. or a stereo so loud it can shatter windows or eardrums in your house? Your job should be enjoyable because you like the work and feel you are doing something worth while. If you are working your butt off just so you can earn piles of cash to impress the people around then you have made yourself their slave. The dreams about what you wanted to be as a teenager were given to you by God because he wants you to be happy and live a good life. The stuff around should make you happy because of the memories it brings you or because of it's beauty, not because it will impress your friends or colleagues, or because it will make someone jealous. We should use money to spread happiness, not as a status symbol because money doesn't make you special it's who are - a child of god- And what you do that sets you apart. I will give you some tips to help you reach your financial goals at the end of this blog. :) First I want to bring up something that Satan is using as a stronghold and I ask you to search your heart and help God destroy it. There are tens of millions of orphans who are growing up in these institutions believing no one could ever love them. Think about this, imagine going year after year of hundreds of adults passing over you to adopt another kid. Imagine growing up in one of these places knowing that no one thinks you are good enough to be a part of their family. Imagine the desperation these kids go through every time a couple comes through looking for a child to adopt. Now imagine the pain they go through when they are passed up time after time. Then they turn 18 and put out to fend for themselves. Can see how these children are easy targets for the enemy. I ask to help these kids, I know it's expensive to raise a child but I ask you, what is a soul worth. Even you feel that will mess up or are unworthy somehow. I beg you, if you have money or room to open up your one of these children because they are God's children and we are his servants and we are their servants also. What better way to spend our time and money. Please read Matthew 18:5 thru 18:14. Now, let me give you some tips to help with your finances. :) First off, you absolutely must take 10% of what you earn and save it. Do not touch this money for at least 3 to 5 years. Take another 5% and save it for emergencies only. Do not rent unless absolutely necessary. If you really want a house/car/T.V./Etc.. save extra until you can afford it out right. Always, live well within your means, impressing someone temporarily is not worth your future. If you own a business 10% of what it earns must be put back into it, so it will grow and become more successful. After 5 years find something to invest your savings into, you should look for an investment that will give you a reasonable profit. If a prospective investment offers a return profit that seems to good to be true, run away from it. Make sure you thoroughly research your investment prospect before you commit to it, talk to someone who is successful in that area. After you have a decent financial cusion, if you feel unhappy with your career, quit. Do something you love. If you are unhappy at work, you and your loves ones will be miserable at home.
