True Freedom Even in Prison
I realized something the other day that i want to share with you all.
I have been in prison since Jan. 7, 2005, and I understand that a lot of people out there in the free world truly believe we have it made in here. The truth is that with the constant threat of being attacked by any number of inmates, facing possible rape, being violently robbed all under the eyes of uncaring guards, plus being told what to eat, what to wear, what to watch on TV, when to sleep by guards who at whim can have you legally beaten down by other guards—prison is pretty rough.
However, since God healed me, I have come to feel and live in a freedom few even on the outside feel. You see, I trust the Father with every aspect of my life, and He does not fail me. I trust God to provide all of my needs and wants, and He always comes through. I trust God to protect me from my enemies and from my own stupidity, and He is batting a thousand. God is my everything, and everything I have is a gift from our Father. God will never run out of anything because He has the patent on everything and will always make more. :)
I know God wants us to take care of each other with his gifts. In doing this, it opens up the hearts and lives of those who are in need. I don't feel anxiety because I know He holds me in his gentle hands. I don't feel fear because I know He will turn whatever happens to me to my good and to the good of everyone He loves: everyone. I trust the one who knows me, the one who orders the universe, the one who loves me completely for love's sake. The amazing thing is it really works, and my life is so much better. Will you join me? :)
I look forward from hearing from you. God bless you all.
Peace and love. :)
