Live In The Moment

Hello, everyone. I just wanted to share with you something the Holy Spirit put in my heart.

We humans have a bad habit of worrying about tomorrow, the future, or eternity. And that causes an extreme amount of stress. The enemy tricks us into believing that with the right amount of planning, we can control what happens tomorrow. This is an awful lie, and a cause for a lot of pain and misery.

First off, the future is not promised to any of us. Secondly, if we have power over tomorrow, then we don't need to trust God. God wants to spend time with us, and he wants us to trust him, to take care of us. But if we spend all of our time thinking about the future, we lose ourselves in endless possibilities. God wants us to live in the now, to share this most precious moment with him. If we can allow ourselves to feel the love our Father right now, then our joy will increase to amazing level. Our stress and worry will disappear and our trust in God's ability to take care of us will supernova. Through this, our relationship with the Father, becomes clear and the bond grows stronger.

Only through concentrating on right now, spending the moment with God, can we let go of our futile efforts to control the future over to the only one who truly has control. By sharing right now with God, we learn to let him take care of eternity. After all, eternity is made up of a whole bunch of little "right nows". :)

I look forward to your comments. God bless you all.

Peace and love :)
