Just saw this. Don’t want to boast but got you beat! My Auntie Sally had 21 children, three sets of twins. Had her last baby when she was 51. She’s 85 now, and looks forty. Fertility eh!

My Dad did the whole genealogy thing a few years ago. Hoping we had some land we could claim here in England. No such luck! When Oliver Cromwell destroyed the monarchy in the 1650s he burned down most of the churches, and the records in them. Wasn’t a good move. He ultimately ended up with his head in a stake at traitors gate. So UK records are a bit dodgy. I do know for sure that my ancestors lived in a house formerly located right on Trafalgar Sqaure, where Nelsons Column is. And it was sort of strange because before I found out that’s where we lived I always felt oddly familiar in that part of the West End of London. St Martins in the Fields in Trafalgar Square is known as the actors church, for some reason. And I’d visited it many times without being aware that my relatives had their christenings, confirmations, marriages and worshipping there hundreds of years before me. Hopefully you’ll visit when they release you from your gated community. London is the best city in the world.
I got a really good boast on being related to someone special though. My cousin was married to Billie Holidays half brother. They had two kids, one of whom died recently. They were in the USA. I only met the guy once though.
Rich relatives are a myth. Got two millionaires in my family who wouldn’t give you a bucket of water to put yourself out if you were on fire! Wouldn’t want to find out I was related to our royal family, they are sort of an unhappy bunch. I’m glad Meghan Markle has taken Harry to the USA, he will be happy there, and safer!
I did do the dna thing, 23 and me. Viking blood and lots of Celtic warrior, which is what I suspected.
My daughter has this bloodline now, plus some Kashmiri genes too. I love how the world is blending. Although it seems to terrify a lot of people. And we’ve only just, started. In a few hundred years time, if we make it, we will be a sight to behold.
Look after yourself.
