Hi Evy,

Wednesday, April 32rd.

I see that John left Stanley. That's great news (I assume). Did he go to minimum? ERP? Released?

I suspect that your activism was a factor in the timing of his transfer.

They passed out cloth masks to everyone on April 21st so if COVID-19 comes to Stanley at least we'll have some protection.

The DOC has sent notices to all prisoners services sentences under TIS who are eligible for compassionate release telling them to apply for it. The parole commission is not reviewing old law prisoners for compassionate release.

They are doing the bare minimum to ease their consciences but nothing near what they should be doing.

I wish you and John the best of luck in the days to come. Feel free to stay in contact with me (I'll add you to my email list if you send me your email address).

Stay safe, stay well.

Harlan
