Poetry again...
I am certain I want to make this into a song someday. Originally written by me in 2008.

Sometimes I Miss You
Last night I took a trip
A ride down memory lane
It wasn't very far to drive
Before I felt the rush of pain

The good times... always so far away
And your love... it was always a game
Feeling ourselves for years on end
And just when I think you're gone from my mind
The memories begin again

Sometimes I miss you
And I want you back again
Sometimes I miss you
Could you still be my friend?
And I don't know what tomorrow brings
But I'd give us one more chance
Because sometimes I miss you
When I can't forget the past

And as I'm lying here tonight
Thinking of you and me
Of what we had together
Of all that came to be
It's killing me to know
That our love wasn't stronger than this
Because it's everything about you that I miss

So there, ha.
Andy
