Redemption, Ltr. 1

We all live in this messed up world, where the government system has been screwing us over since the beginning of time, because for thousands of years before Christ, us Afrikan people were the premier teachers on the earth & the envy of the world, coming from the first civilization, Ancient Egypt, attracting the curious travellers to Afrika, home of the arts, sciences, religion, & spiritually, nurturing human wonders of the world, only to fall prey to endless violence of greedy invaders who destroyed our culture, temples, & burned all our books, because before the Greek invasion the Greeks & Romans were students & settlers going to Egypt for years to learn religion, architecture, the arts & science, and it took years of calculated violence for the Romans to destroy Egypt's education system, because the ultimate aim of education in Egypt was for a person to become "one with God" or to "become like God", which us young nation lack a clear & meaningful identity, purpose, & direction, and it leaves a nation ripe for manipulation & exploitation... It makes us turn to & try to impress the wrong audience, that will continue to try destroying us, causing us to seek rewards from strangers, it prevents us from mobilizing our resources together, because we do not control the institutions that educate & socialize our kids' destructive patterns, the schools, mass media, law, etc... Because our nation is being schooled & socialized, but not by us blacks, and us adults are being schooled & socialized by someone other than us, where you can see the accelerating destruction of our history & culture, of our capacity to use our own cultural traditions for our political, social, economic, & spiritual benefit, we are not passing on to our young nation those things that will give them a clear sense of identity, purpose, & direction, which these things cannot be taught to us by strangers, or our young nation will suffer & want to imitate our oppressors, and you see the destruction of our culture, where outside forces have stolen credit of all the great things we influenced from music, dancing, art, Egypt... Covering up our great creativities, as they have always done to make our young nation feel inferior & that we don't have no culture, until the early 1900's, fresh out of slavery us blacks created hip-hop, that inspired our nation to build a replica system of our ancestors, exactly like Ancient Egypt, giving us the opportunity to once again be the largest influence & envy of the world today, as hip-hop is religiously followed by all black youth, and seeking knowledge put in our music to educate & articulate the experiences of our struggle, which is very important to us, that our story isn't told by outsiders, but by our young nation, that hip-hop continues to represent this cultural movement, when united in the hopes of dropping science on our young nation, we can't be stopped...

Hey Nephew!
I'm sorry it took so long to look you up on these blogs! I agree with what you are saying, and one day maybe we will be regarded for all of the contributions we have made to this society instead of being called lazy, shiftless, and unworthy of being called men and women as equals of the Caucasian race. We are in a struggle for this matters now here in the Ferguson, Missouri area, as I am sure you have heard about what's going on here. I live very near to the area where everything is happening. My pastor, Reverend Traci Blackmon is one of the leading pastors who is leading the way in these protest marches and meetings with the officials in charge. We are now waiting for the grand jury's decision to come down, and I hope it is good news for us. Talk to you later!
