Hello Shahean Jones, who are you? I'm from Brazil and I'm studying acting. This semester we must create a scene based on a newspaper article. And we chose an article about Between the Bars. So we created a story about a girl that talks to a man that's in prison. The scene must be socially relevant, so we can put real things and facts. Reading the blog, your letter called my attention and I was wondering if you would like to write something specially for our scene. It can be anything, a poem, a story or even a letter about the possibility of making contact with other people through the internet. How do you feel about this? I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks. Edwin, we communicate already but I thought it would be good for you to have a comment to these things you are writing - the truth and reality from your side of the wall. Keep on - it takes courage and tenacity to bring truth out to those who really have no idea what is happening inside the walls. It takes courage and tenacity to bring truth out to those who work inside the walls and pretend everything is being done with integrity and consideration for others. Because I have some understanding and knowledge of both sides of the wall from a prison ministry viewpoint, I encourage you to continue expressing what you see - you do it well and concisely. Beautiful work Eric and reasonable price. I work on prison reform media. I create films about formerly incarcerated people and racial disparity. I will keep you in mind when I am looking for drawings for films or reports on these topics. Thanks for the post. :-)
I've been looking every day since May 22nd to read something new on your blog!
I love to read your blog because it is always so "positive" and well explained! I believe in the power of positive thinking, but it's difficult (not impossible) to stay on track when so many people around you are so "negative". I try every day to help these people see the benefit of "positive" thinking, not always successful! Your blog reminds me to "remind them" that they have choices, and they are the only ones that can change their lives. If they sit around feeling sorry for themselves, they will still be in the same situation 20+ years from now. Change is always fearful (of the unknown results) but it is necessary! Our lives "continue" to change all the time. Sometimes because we make the change, sometimes because the change is made for us!
You have made great progress, and I'm so happy to see you helping others to get the benefits you feel from that progress!
You are doing a great thing by sharing your inspiration with others!!

I read the book "Seven habits of Highly Effective People". It was passed out many years ago at work. I loved it, and books like it! You can always learn something from them. I also like to read self-help book! I always seem to get something from them as well.
I agree with you on "stress"; it is necessary but too many people hang on to it. You need to know when to let go and move on! It looks like you have made tremendous progress in this area.
