Ephesians 6 fighting principality and powers. Hebrews 6 leaving those principles behind.. let us go onto perfection. what is perfection? Matthew 5:45-48 how in the hell are you supposed to greet the 'enemy' same as you do your best friend? by not trusting any man? you can't trust yourself.. that's why diets exist.. mankind cannot trust himself. the powers of suggestion? where do thoughts come from? is your body and spirit GOD? 1 Cor 6:20... wwgd

recently a friend was taken advantage of after 15 years of working for this media outlet.

at first she said "they really screwed me over".
in time maybe you realize you trusted the wrong people and where all the blame really is.

I am interpreting your statements as parole board members will. hope you see clearly

I've mentioned before.. speaking to them means you need help.
far as I recall you didn't need anyone's approval or help.

I am certain you will find easy way to 'fit in'
I remember how you thought of 'mom and dad and sister'.. I Really remember house behind Jim's Burgers .. middle triplex.

that view of this world never went away.
turns out.. cartoons/our expectations and the ideology we gave 'authority' to ruined us.

seeking means you lack. you've always had everything you needed.

Rob,

I am very sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother. Your Mom will live forever in your heart each and every day. You keep doing the good you are doing and keep your head up. You are in my daily prayers. Making your Mom proud of the man you are today is the best gift you can give her. She is with you always and sees the man you are. Knowing this should give you peace, I hope it does. Take good care of yourself.

Hello, my name is Gary S. Field. I was born in Miami in 1992. I've got a few reasons to believe that I am your son. My sister found your blog on the web, and recognized the picture in your profile. My Aunt was able to confirm that you are the Gary that I'm named after. And so, I've been reading your letters for years. I'm struck by how deeply I can connect to some of your writings even though we've never met. I've been reading at a time where I search for a purpose for my life. You wrote that you'd like to "RE-connect" to friends and family. Its taken me years to decide to reach out to you. I think it was mainly due to anxiety of imagining your reaction. If you're willing, I could be one of your allies for when you get out. 2021 is a few short years away. Who knows maybe I'll be able to school you on social media? :D

David,

I finally signed up for your blog. I think maybe God was telling me to get off my behind, as this was the first post of yours I saw. Wanted to let you know that I am proud of you and look forward to seeing more of your blog entries.

MY LIFE OF SIN

My life of sin, where did it begin?
Surely not when I began to slang rocks.
around the block
So my hunger would stop.
And surely not when I said "Fuck the cops"
because they beat us until they seen blood and snot.

So where did it begin, my life of sin?
I remember going to church paying bribes
I mean tithes
I remember telling the truth and shaming the devil
I grew up vibing with Christ on all levels
There's nothing you can tell me about the gospel
I been trying to help myself.

So where did it begin, my life of sin?
I never knew until my sister explained rape
I know you can't escape your fate
I come from humble beginnings,
but I'm not too sure about a peaceful ending.

So where did it begin, my life of sin?
Can it be my skin
or where my life begun?
The rush of the seed, the falling of the egg
I just can't believe the curse is on my head
from my Pop's bed

My life of sin!

THE MOVEMENT

"Born a black man, born to be proud.
born to stand up, and sometimes fall down.
Born to be the best
but get looked at different from the Rest.
Born to have the American dream,
but up against the odds, is what it seems."

But today, in our society, we are living in a world where
being a black man or woman seems to be a crime.
Discrimination is a factor in our inner cities. It has
manifested in ways that's unexplainable, and unacceptable to human nature.

BLACK LIVES MATTER! if you can't understand the movement or reason, it's because you have not lived in our shoes, or felt like your loved ones life is at risk when leaving home. You have not felt the pain of all victims families that was murdered by law enforcement officers.

You have not experienced the judgement of being black, or being labelled so understanding is difficult. But as a proud Black man that came from the inner city, that's been discriminated against, that's experienced police brutality, and still over came the obstacles through education to pass along, I feel obligated to speak out to my community.

It's been too many lives taken for no reason, and I feel it's time to do something, and fighting fire with fire is not the way to solve this issue. I feel we can beat them by educating our communities, talking more to our kids about the facts without sugar coating the truth, because, racism still exist.
