I was just reading through some blogs and thought I'd say hello. What you say about being afraid to succeed definitely resonates with me as well. Somehow I think I hold on to the idea that if I never really succeed I can never truly fail, either, so that by holding myself back I'm protecting myself. The small failures that come from not really trying seem more manageable than the potential for big failures that would come with success. I'm working on this all the time. Glad to hear that self reflection and work are paying off for you.
I was just reading through some blogs and thought I'd leave a comment. Glad you're staying sucker free! You're right about reality TV; it sends such strange picture of what life is or should be. I have been watching a British reality show lately (The Great British Bake Off) and it's amazing how different it is from American shows because they don't play up the drama and make everything into a conflict. It's really refreshing.

I got the magnificent drawing/painting from Smitty today! The 16th of February!I was very surprised to see it, George!!:))Tomorrow i'll write him a letter to thank him!The ressemblance is very striking! So nice of you George! Thanks a lot darling!
What a vacuous response to a well structured comment by one of your only 2 fans (Hi Gypsy!). Seems that you can bash everyone that you come in contact with but the 'free speech warrior' fears the truth.
Lets face it.........your self hatred, that is so evident that it does not bode well for your eventual release into society, will weigh you down.
Holiday today - not sure this will be sent, though it gives today's date :) Played world of warcraft most of the day today and yesterday - I have 9 characters, all at max level so I'm just trying to get them geared up before the next expansion at the end of summer when they will give us new areas to explore. Hard to describe since I don't think you've ever seen or heard of the game :) Nothing new here - we are all just trying to get over being sick. G'night now - sweet dreams
Not many inmates answsr the letters...I felt very happy today to hear from you. We have a lot to tell! Thanks for the honest way of telling me something about your life.Honesty goes the farest! Friends do wish each other also Happy Valentine's.It was yesterday and so it isn't too late to do that.;)
I will write more later on,but now I've to leave my appartment to do babysitting at my oldest daughter,Elke. She just had her new born, Lars,a boy and has a little girl, Lynn of 2 yrs young.
It's Valentine's Day - couldn't let the day pass without telling you that I love you - even when I hate you - but you already know that :) I see notices on my last two notes that they were sent 2 days ago, so you should have them by the time you get this - that's good!! I'm almost well now - finally - and will be going to Alabama in a couple of weeks to visit - plan on staying a week or so. Hopefully I'll see a message from you then :)

No doubt your suite in C2 will still be available when you realize how irrelevant you become in the free world and join the 44%.
