I just read your message tonight, the 20th. Here, I notice you should get my answer tomorrow,Monday,21 March.
It is a babysit-day at Elke's house. She lives near our airport, Zaventem. I travel then with a tram,a train and next a small walk of 15 minutes.I will carry 2 Cd's, I got for free in my library, with my A- Card. 'A' from Antwerp(en). One can exchange 2 Cd's OR 4 books for free with 10 points. You get those points in swimming pools, libraries and social centers, etc. One take them there on a kind of a special pole-box. It really is cool! Also when you have 10 points on your card, one gets a free swimming in the pool! Or a reduction in price for a museum, a reading, a show here or there... Antwerp has a lot to offer cultural wise!!
Why no fishing you ask? Well,I couldn't see that fish dying. :( I love animals!Although I had only canaries when married,a turtle at my parents(we had a garden in Brussels) and a few hamsters when our daughters were small.Other than that, no animals. But I love cats, dogs, and other animals!Let me say that I like living creatures.:)) Do you more have sisters or brothers,Henry? Do they all live in America? Were you born in NY? I've a nephew and his family living there.I believe you as you say it is a corrupt state. The dad(92) of my fiancé (an American prisoner, George...) says California is one of the worst in that aspect!:o And Leslie and her family recently decided to live there.Well, it's their decision.
Sometimes I'm not sure I decided correctly when I came here. Oh I know - it's inevitable - there will come a time when I can't care for myself - but I'm not there yet and it's different here. I don't know how to describe it - it's not that they go to church and I choose not to - I don't go to their church because of the head covering - eventually that would be an issue. I should find another church but I'm not sure I could go in by myself - I have problems with that sometimes. Oh well - it's not important anyway - today is just one of those days :)
There's a surprise.....grey day and #W66927 delivers the best laugh since New Year.
"We are socially responsible men"
The only thing that this motley crew are socially responsible for is the murders of a great number of US citizens.
From fellow gangsters/drug dealers to cop killers to people who will kill you for your last paycheck or sneakers instead of getting a job all the way up to a man that slaughters his wife and kids in the most brutal manner.
Perhaps you are missing the definition of "socially responsible" and think that it is a catchy buzz word.
Social responsibility is all about doing to others what you would like others do to you. It is about recognizing how your behaviour affects others, and holding yourself accountable for your actions. For example, contrast someone being well mannered with someone being rude. A socially responsible person will endeavour to have a positive effect on others and enrich his environment. He will strive to make a positive contribution, and will not pollute the atmosphere, both physically and metaphorically.
Contrast that with your bile ridden diatribes that seeks to dehumanize the people charged with your care. To provide 3 hots and a cot. To make sure that the many that seek to stick a shank in your bloated body do not succeed. You will learn to appreciate that upon your release when your narcissistic personality disorder serves to push someone else over the edge. Then there will be one of two outcomes. I wait with bated breath.
This was my first time transcribing one of your posts, so I'm not familiar with your situation. I just want you to know that......
yes, children still laugh I don't know about the tuna and yes, the world knows that you want back in.
Keep your head up!! I haven't always made the "right" choices and it took me awhile to realize that I was only hurting myself and my children. I'm come a long way from the person that I used to be and it was a long hard road but I did it. I have faith in you and I truly believe that if anyone works hard enough, they too can turn their life around. Again, I have faith that you can do this. Just keep your head up!!!
Write back if you want to chat. I'd like to learn more about you and if nothing else....I'd like to help you to keep your head up and know that....it may take some time, but you can make it through this. SMILE ;)
Take care!Rita
... have more...(correction)
