I do not know what it is like to live with bipolar disorder but I have lived with severe mental illness for 12 years. I think the treatment you have suffered is truly awful and wish you the very best with your lawsuits. I hope that some day you may actually get help with your condition which will enable you to live a more meaningful life.
That last paragraph was so touching. When I first came to this site it was for an educational purpose, as you know, but the connections I made here became important to me, so I stuck around, enjoying the company. What I had hoped for from that point was that perhaps just being a friend would eventually be enough to make a difference... Even just a very small difference in someone's life and your words here show me that is very possible. I'm astounded at how quickly that's happened. Thank you for showing me the value in just being a friend.
It is the 6th of February here today, although it is still the 5th there in the USA, I will take advantage of the situation and be the first to say "Happy Birthday my dear friend!"
